They inaugurated the UEFA Champions Trophy Tour 2010 presented by UniCredit yesterday in Munich, Germany, with their official ribbon cutting and a press conference. Munich’s Marienplatz is abuzz with Trophy spotters and celbs during these hours. Yesterday’s final preparations…

Who would have thought it: After Bayern let it slip though their hands in May in the big Final against Internazionale, the UEFA Champions League Trophy has nevertheless found its way to Munich! Thanks to the UEFA Champions League Trophy Tour 2010 presented by UniCredit. The Trophy is expected to arrive today at 11:00 a.m. on beautiful Marienplatz — on the back of an impressive Freightliner truck. A press conference with Luís Figo, official UniCredit ambassador for the UEFA Champions League and other football celebrities will open an exciting five-day exposition event. Don’t miss it! Hoooonk!!! The truck is ready to roll again!! We are just about to start the engines for the 2010 leg of the UEFA Champions League Trophy Tour presented by UniCredit. This time we’ll bring the Trophy to fans in  Germany, Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia and Austria bewteen 15 September and 17 October. Watch out for the truck as it will stop in more than 15 cities along the route.  Main events are in Munich, Prague, Warsaw, Bratislava and Vienna, where we’ll set up the big Trophy Tour Village.
