Time to say “Thank you”.

Together with Luís Figo we asked users all over the world to upload their
smile to the KidSmile-Me Arena. In return we donated 10 Euro per smile to the „Open Fun Football Schools“. A humanitarian project using joyful games and the pedagogical "fun-football-concept" as a tool to promote democracy, peace, stability and social cohesion in divided societies. The project targets boys and girls from 7 to 12 years old, coming together for five days and joining grassroots football and other sports. Provided equipment and know-how stays with the communities.
All in all in 2011, UniCredit Foundation will contribute 200.000 Euro to “Open Fun Football Schools” to provide equipment in Bosnia, Croatia, Serbia and Ukraine and introduce the project to new countries like Bulgaria, Italy, Slovakia and Slovenia. Check out the interview with Luís Figo and the beneficiaries on our blog and our facebook fanpage.
To all those who made kids smile we sent a special keepsake from the UEFA Champions League Final 2011 as a little “Thank You”: the original confetti straight from Wembley Stadium. See how we collected it by hand.
